These Gokujo Jirushi Miyabi Hakama are aimed at our Iaido customers looking for a special grading or Enbu outfit.

Featuring a high class Japanese Polyester fabric, this Hakama exudes class and Iaidoka will look crisp and clean for their special events.  Beautifully cut with a wide Maehaba (front) section suited to wide western hips, and with front Himo with a full length of 385cm and back Himo of 205cm.  In combination with the flexible rubber Koshi Ita (back plate) and special fabric, this is a Hakama which stands out from the competition in it's singularity.

Made from an identical material to the IG-3-S Iaigi, making this an ideal selection for a perfectly matched set.

    I thought I'd try one of these hakama since I've never been very happy with the cheaper ones available and put it down to being rotund (which is definitely a factor!). This hakama is made of a more substantial fabric and has a very subtle sheen to it. The cut seems more generous so it hangs better on me and the himo are longer so one is able to tie better aesthetically pleasing knots. With P&P plus embroidery these come out at about £90 so they're not cheap, but I'm considering replacing my cheapo, ill-fitting hakama with these in due course. Highly recommended.
