Mini Shirasaya letter opener set. Traditionally, high class blades are often mounted and kept in Shirasaya rather than a full mount for battle. Literally translated as White Scabbard, the soft Honoki wood keeps the blade at its best whilst allowing easy cleaning and inspection. This lovely pair of Shira Saya each contain a stainless steel blade with etched Hamon for dealing with the post.

The letter openers measure approximately 21cm & 17cm respectively.

    Although the stand is made from plastic it does not look that way! Little swords look good on my desk and are very useful to get through the daily mail. Real eye catcher!
