Top quality hand finished Koban Gata (oval grip) Shinai. The Tsuka shape makes it easier to orientate the Mune of the shinai. Often a popular option with practitioners of sword arts other than or in addition to Kendo, due to the Tsuka shape emulating that of a real sword. Fitted with the top quality Gin leather (top cut).

Available in size 39 only. These Shinai are supplied fully assembled and come complete with Tsuba & Dome.

    Coming to kendo from kenjutsu I really appreciated this shinai. The oval handle provides a more real-life grip experience while still being eligible to be used in official competitions. Highly recommended for those looking for a genuine katana-like grip experience!
