Top quality hand finished Jissen Gata Shinai.

This special Shinai is carefully shaped to make it ideal for competition. With the balance distributed mainly through the lower two thirds of the weapon and a slim Monouchi section, this Shinai is very stable, making it easy to control Tsuki, whilst maintaining the fluid manouverability of a Dobari Shinai for the ideal fencing makeup.

The quality of this Shinai is not to be underestimated, it is a fantastic competition weapon that could make the difference between winning and losing. Considered the best competition Shinai by our Japanese suppliers. Fitted with the top quality Gin leather (top cut).

Available in size 39 only. These Shinai are supplied fully assembled and come complete with Tsuba & Dome.

    This Shinai proved to be really well rounded and manoeuvrable, it provides a great response which feels very direct from the left hand. It has proved quite robust as well.
