This hand finished Shinai model with extra thick Tsuka offers a comfortable grip that significantly adjusts the the overall balance of the weapon, drawing the main weight back towards the Tsuka and making the Shinai feel lighter in the hand.

 

Thicker grip Shinai are often favoured by those with bigger hands, or those looking to use a more relaxed grip, facilitated by the the beefier grip profile.
