Iaiyo Grooved Bokken & Saya Pack
In stock
Slim grip, light-weight and loud! All factors that make this beautiful Iai-Yo Bokken unique and ready for Iaido action with our plastic Saya and Sageo kit.
This kit consists of a Shiro Kashi (white oak) Iai-Yo Bokken, plastic Saya (scabbard) and cotton Sageo and comes complete with a Tsuba and Dome.
The Bokken has a specially slimmed down Tsuka (grip) which facilitates the Tsuba and Dome (hand guard and rubber stopper) application from the back side of the blade. The thinner Tsuka profile makes the Daito especially suitable for smaller hands and reduces overall Bokken weight.
The high quality plastic Saya has a lightly textured finish for easy movement in the Obi (belt) and a moulded Kurigata for attaching the Sageo (cord).
The Sageo is a chunky woven cotton style in 8 Shaku length, suitable for most Koryu schools.
