Extra-Protective Men-Buton – The Men pad is constructed using multiple protective layers, featuring carefully selected natural felts of varying densities at its core. These materials have been chosen to provide an optimal balance of weight, comfort, impact absorption, and durability. Additional reinforcement is incorporated across the primary striking zone for enhanced protection where it is needed most.

Shock Absorbent 8mm Cross-Stitch Construction – The Men Futon features traditional 8mm cross-stitching (Juuji-Zashi), creating a resilient structure that effectively distributes impact forces while maintaining flexibility and comfort. The cross-stitched pattern improves durability, reduces compression of the internal padding, and helps the Men maintain its shape through prolonged use.

Diagonal Men-Dare Stitch – Naname-Zashi (diagonal stitching) applied to the Men-Dare encourages a natural fit from the outset, reducing break-in time and allowing unrestricted head movement and posture.

Duralumin Men-Gane – A lightweight yet highly durable Duralumin grille provides excellent protection while keeping overall weight to a minimum.

Shock Absorbent 8mm Cross-Stitch Construction – Traditional 8mm cross-stitching throughout the Kote Futon enhances structural integrity and impact management while preserving freedom of movement and comfort.

White Deer Leather Tenouchi-Gawa - soft and comfortable, deer leather is the preferred Kote palm materials for closeness of fit. With its inherent elasticity the palms stretch and mould to the shape of the hand and fingers perfectly with use.

Man-Made Atama Fill – High-density synthetic wool filling maintains its shape and protective qualities over time, resisting compression and ensuring consistent performance.
