Designed for contact practice and commonly utilised by the Aikido community and the Kashima Shin Ryu, these handmade, fully leather covered, Fukoro Shinai are of excellent quality for traditional practices.
Total length is approximately 106cm and we offer a discounted upgrade option on Kashima Shin Ryu Shinai Tsuba.
As standard these Shinai do not include Tsuba or Dome.

For Shinai for juniors under 12 years, the size is determined by Kendoka size. Measure from the floor to the peak of the armpit crease and match that size as closely to a Shinai size as possible.
