Typified by its distinctive Hiramaki Tsukamaki style and its large rounded Kojiri (end pommel), the Toppei Koshirae is a famous style of sword which came into being towards the end of the Edo period, at the demise of the Tokugawa Shogunate.
Designed specifically to combine the Japanese sword with Western military training methods, the emphasis on practicality, toughness and simplicity for these swords is reflected in outstanding performance and unique styling.
Options to choose and upgrade Ito colours and materials, Saya colours and finishes, Hamon, blade length and Menuki, mean that you can create a fully customised sword around this classic theme.
