These Iaido practice swords feature a light-weight zinc-aluminium alloy blade with a refined Suguha Hamon.  Available for practitioners in a wide range of heights, Nine Circles stocks lengths from 2.20 to 2.45 shaku. Each piece is fitted with a tightly wrapped black cotton Tsuka Ito over white Samegawa, finished in the classic Hinerimaki style.

The hilt fittings reflect the spirit of the Ryu model: Antiqued copper alloy Fuchi, Kashira, and menuki with a dragon-theme evoke strength and perseverance, while a sleek black Ishime (matt) Saya completes the elegant aesthetic.

As each sword is hand finished in Japan each piece will retain a unique identity. Weights and precise balance points will vary depending on length and individual characteristics but are guaranteed to remain within a range perfect for Iaido practice.
