This new virus protector designed by the All Japan Budogu Cooperative is planned to be the official shield for competitors at the 19th World Kendo Championships in Milan 2024. 

The shield covers the bottom half of the face to block droplets directly from the mouth and nose, in accordance with ZNKR (All Japan Kendo Federation) guidance on mitigating risk of viral transmission, whilst limiting the effect on vision and comfort within the Men seen with full face shields.  Easy to take out and to wash as required.

 

Please Note: This face shield is a form of PPE.  It is designed to fit inside the Men, to limit the spread of droplets present during Keiko.  It is not a guarantee of safety and strict adherence to accepted safety measures must be adhered to.
