This unique piece is a 2.50 Shaku Hybrid T-10 forged steel Shinken from the Fred Chen Forge in Shanghai, China (makers of Cold Steel swords).  A sharp and very strong cutting sword with Bohi, genuine Hamon and full traditional stone polish.  Only on Outlet Sale due to a slightly damaged Kashira (dented).

Features of these models include:

2.50 Shaku Iaido Blade - blades are slimmed down and have a full Hi to reduce overall weight and improve balance.

T-10 Steel - high carbon mono-steel, forged and differentially tempered to produce a variable hardness (Ha - 57HRC, Mune 35HRC).

Hand Polish - traditional stones are used throughout the polishing process to produce an outstanding finish, showing the grain of the steel and to reveal the genuine Hamon.

Light Brown Silk Tsuka Ito - Hiramaki style, wrapped in Japan.

Black Ishime Saya – Made in Japan with a feature metal Kurigata, the Saya are beautifully finished in black matt lacquer.
