The Nosyudo Tokujo Iaito represent the finest quality Japanese Iaito available on the market today. Each sword is hand crafted in Seki, Japan to the highest standards of traditional sword production.

 

We also offer a custom made option for Nosyudo Iaito available here.

 

Features Include:

 

Standard Weight Iaito Blade - Zinc alloy with groove: Maximum Length 2.60 Shaku.

 

Ha (Cutting Edge) - Standard (unsharpened).

 

Tsuka Ito (Hilt Binding) - Cotton binding with Hineri Maki wrap.

 

Natural Samé - Black ray skin.

 

Tsuba (Guard) - Blackened cast steel.

 

Fuchi/Kashira & Menuki (Hilt Fittings) - Antique brass alloy.

 

Habaki & Seppa - Polished brass.

 

Saya (Scabbard) - Brown Ishime (matt).

 

These swords do not include a stand.

I’ve used this now in class a few time now, it’s well balanced and feels great in the hands, its tahcikaze is clear and lets you know when it’s wrong, it’s light enough to wield in a seminar for the day, the wrap is good and tight and I would recommend this Iaito, it looks stunning both in class and on the display stand.

Absolutely stunning bit of kit. Smooth in and out of the saya and brilliantly balanced. The fittings look amazing too putting a cherry on the cake. Would recommend.
